David Howse and Derek Knox of PCL Construction in Edmonton were in San Jose recently to talk about their experiences as an SRM beta customers at the VMware forum.

In this video, they also talk about their experiebces as Dell EqualLogic customers. They are now running over 20 of our arrays in their site and adding more constantly.

A few days ago, Sun announced that they were going to turn their ZFS file system and other storage software into open source intiiatives. Chuck Hollis and I both posted in our respective blogs about it, as well as taking the discussion up on The Future of Storage.

That was all before their Sun's earnings announcement yesterday. Now I'm more inclined to wonder if there is a plan there at all of if it is just bubble-icious frictionless world dreaming. It looks like Zilla-man agrees too.
